The Melbourne blokart Club was incorporated in June 2006. It carries a $10M public liability insurance policy that covers members at official events. Of course, we have never had to draw on it as safety is a prime concern. We have members from 6 to 60 (actually, older than 60 but he won’t tell us how much older). Men, women, and kids sail together, differentiated by the blokart setup and weight only. Even the disabled can enjoy the sport, racing against everyone else with an equal chance of winning. |
